The 2023 Subaru Outback provides phenomenal performance with its two available powertrains. The first is a standard 2.5L four-cylinder engine making 182 horsepower, and the second is an optional 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder with 260 horsepower for an increasingly impactful drive. Both powertrain options join a continuously variable automatic transmission that functions similarly to an eight-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is also standard, providing balance to the SUV.
