Subaru is one of the few automotive manufacturers founded on love. As part of their goals to make each community they touch a happier, healthier place, they've created the Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment. This promise contains five different areas of support, and your local MetroWest Subaru is a proud part of each of these areas in our local community.

We have partnered with several foundations and organizations that help out the local community, including:

• The Life is Good Kid's Foundation: Partners with top childcare organizations to improve the quality of care provided to at-risk children.
• The Center for Arts in Natick: Our local community arts center.
• Boys & Girls Club MetroWest: An organization that uses inclusion, vision, and education to help young people reach their potential as active citizens in the community.
• OUT MetroWest: Supports LGBTQ+ youth through leadership programs, workshops, and resources.
• Natick Service Council: Promotes self-sufficiency and aide to those struggling with economic and financial related uncertainty.

As part of the Subaru Love Promise pledge, our team at MetroWest Subaru is proud to regularly collaborate with causes and organizations we believe in. One area of this program we spend a tremendous amount of focus on is our Subaru Loves to Care initiatives, partnering with local companies and hosting events that focus on giving back to those in need.

One cause we are fortunate to support frequently is Meals-On-Wheels. About three years ago, Baypath Elder Services Inc., the local Meals on Wheels chapter, called MetroWest Subaru asking us to be their partner dealership. The immediate response was yes - anything you need. Since then, we've partnered on various initiatives, including facilitating "Stuff the Trunk" food drives (providing the vehicle as well as organizing food donations at the dealership), partnering for Share the Love donations during the holiday season and having General Manager, VJ Donnelly speaking at our annual meeting about this initiative. However, the most rewarding part of our partnership has been the ability for MetroWest Subaru to donate their time to help deliver meals to those in need in the local community.

Our team at MetroWest Subaru appreciates the opportunity to support academic institutions and education initiatives in local Boston-area communities. Reading is a skill that students need to develop for critical thinking growth and preparation for college-level courses. Accepting donations at our Subaru dealership from visitors who're interested in helping, we regularly provide books to Newton South High School to provide this learning environment with necessary resources!

To date, our team has collectively raised over $12,000 in scholarship funds to support BCCS and the annual Edward M. Kennedy Scholarship fundraiser. This important fundraiser helps pay for the college attendance of students with financial difficulties, expanding development opportunities in communities around greater Boston. Additionally, we regularly donate Boston Red Sox tickets as part of this scholarship's raffle run so lucky winners can enjoy a night at Fenway Park!
